Davis Dance Next Generation
Davis Contemporary Dance Company’s passion for continuing dance education and improving the lives of young artists plays a key part in our educational programs. Davis Dance has a pre-professional training company, Davis Dance Next Generation (DDNG) that makes this possible. Our training company of talented young artists was built from an extensive audition process that brought together students from many diverse home lives, economic backgrounds, and dance levels.
DDNG is made up of dancers from Denver, Greenwood Village, Aurora, Parker, Castlerock, and Littleton, The diversity in young artist is what makes it so special. These dancers train directly with the main company in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Contemporary dance techniques. With professional level training our dancers benefit from some of the best dance training in Colorado.
Next Gen's training is aimed to mold a complete dancer in many dance styles to hone a young dancer's technique and artistic growth. The program is rigorous and loving in approach. The dancers train in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. On Saturdays they take company class with the professional company to prepare them for the professional world of dance. The company also performs throughout their season in the annual fall gala "Light up the Night", In-Studio Winter Sharing, "Davis Dance At the Fox", and their annual end of year concert "A Summer Afternoon of Dance" at the Eliane Wolf Theatre.

Wednesday:
● Jazz with Terrell, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm (Optional)
Thursday:
● Contemporary with Terrell, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm (Required)
● DDNG Rehearsal, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm (Required)
Friday:
● Hip-Hop with Seamus, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm (Optional)
● Open Studio Time/Independent Study, 6:30 pm (Optional)
Saturday:
● Company Class, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm (Required) ● DDNG Rehearsal, 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm (Required)

Company Class Commitment & Tuition
Dancers are required to take six classes per week: five from the required list plus one optional class of their choice. Optional classes include Wednesday Jazz or Friday Hip-Hop. We want to ensure dancers have time for schoolwork, family, and to have a say in their training by offering this flexibility.
Dancers are also welcome to attend any evening Adult/Advanced Teen Classes; however, their tuition does not cover drop-in classes.
The monthly tuition for the Next Gen company is $175. This investment supports your comprehensive training with top instructors and rehearsal time.

Scholarships & Payment Assistance
We believe that financial need should never stand in the way of passionate dancers. Scholarships and payment assistance are
available on an individual basis to support families. Scholarship recipients contribute to the studio community by helping with various tasks around the academy as part of their scholarship commitment.
